The APAN59 Fellowship Program was a success with 29 fellows from 9 economies selected. With that, the APAN 60 Fellowship Program is now open for applications. The 60th APAN Meeting will be held from 28th July – 1st August 2025 in Grand Hyatt, Hong Kong

Students (graduates and undergraduates) are encouraged to apply for fellowships although other young researchers may also be considered. Applicants who are presenting at the APAN 60 will be given precedence. If you have plans of presenting, please submit your proposal in the Call for Presentation Proposals that will be sent out after this call.

The Fellowship Program fund covers the following: (Please read the below points as it’s crucial for your application)

1. Registration Fee: Access to All Sessions/Workshops/Tutorials

2. Food: Lunch and Tea (During Conferences) and 2 Social Dinners

3. Per-Diem allowances (Airport-Venue-Airport transport, Breakfast and Remaining Dinner) : Transport Allowance (if applicable) (From International Airport to the accommodation site and vice versa) or any other ground transportation to the venue and meals that are not covered during the APAN meeting.

4. Accommodation with no breakfast on twin sharing basis during APAN 60 (Venue will be notified to successful applicants). Should you wish to arrange your accommodation (at your own cost) please notify the APAN SEC a month before the event to avoid non-refund of accommodation allowance. Please do not request for single room or to be roomed with your fellow country mate, or book on your own without notifying us as it disrupts our planning.

Please note that the applicants must ensure the AVAILABILITY of their airfare (please check your airfare and accessibility to Hong Kong before applying, as airfare is NOT covered under the fellowship. You are required to provide a letter of proof for the support for airfare from your institution/organization or yourself. Do note without this letter, your application will be immediately rejected.

In cases where you bear the airfare personally, you may be required to provide a confirmed itinerary at the time of acceptance of the Fellowship. 

Except for the occasions of APAN social events, the fellows are expected to plan their dinner expenses on their own.

Please also ensure you do not have any work commitments for this one week as you are required to be in attendance the whole week beginning 28th July 2025. Being present on the first day is crucial. For those who have applied for the APAN fellowship earlier and appeared as no show without notice will also be automatically rejected (Please refer to Blacklisting policy : https://apan.net/fellowship/)
