BdREN Showcases AI Innovations at NCW 2025 in Copenhagen
Dhaka, September 11, 2025 – Abu Naser Md. Nafew, Manager (Innovation) of Bangladesh Research and Education Network (BdREN), participated in the NORDUnet Community Workshop (NCW) 2025, held from September 09–11, 2025, in Copenhagen, Denmark. As a part of the trip, he also attended the TF-EDU side meeting and SIG-AI session on September 08, 2025, organized by GÉANT.
During the workshop, Mr. Nafew delivered a presentation on BdREN’s recent innovative initiatives, including:
- MindSpare – an AI-powered learning platform for quizzes, polls, and surveys.
- AI Mail Wizard – an AI-driven e-mail client application supporting Gmail and dedicated mail servers.
- Local AI Stack – an LLM-based layer tailored for universities.
His presentation highlighted BdREN’s commitment to embracing cutting-edge technologies and advancing digital solutions for the research and education community.
Through this participation, BdREN engaged with European and Nordic NREN communities, fostering collaboration, exchanging knowledge, and exploring future partnership opportunities.
