Bilateral Meeting with Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP)
Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP) is one of the valued members of BdREN. A bilateral service consultation discussion meeting took place on December 1, 2021, at Central Tea Bar, BUP, Mirpur Cantonment, between the respective technical personnel of ICT Cell, BUP headed by its Sr. System Administrator and BdREN team which was led by CEO, BdREN.
As a part of the discussion Major (Retd.) Khaled of BUP presented their service demand including internet connectivity at Mirpur DOHS for female students’ residence, server backup & colocation service, Training, and International partner Collaboration. The floor was open during the presentation for more discussion. CEO, BdREN assured them to provide all demanded services falling within the capacity of BdREN. In understanding the exact requirements CEO BdREN asked for the requirements to be submitted in writing from BUP. He also explained how BUP can enhance its collaboration with other institutes and RENs under the Asi@Connect community through BdREN.
At the end of the meeting Lt. Col. A T M Mozibul Alam, Sr. System Administrator, ICT Centre, BUP thanked the BdREN team for paying the visit to the BUP campus. Mohammad Tawrit, CEO, BdREN also gave his thanks to BUP’s technical team for arranging such an effective coordination meeting and expressed his gratefulness for the grand reception and the amazing hospitality extended to the BdREN Team.
