BdREN Presents Campus Network Survey Report to Gono Bishwabidyalay, Discusses Expanded IT Collaboration
Dhaka, 6 July 2026 — A high-level delegation from Bangladesh Research and Education Network (BdREN) visited Gono Bishwabidyalay (GB) today to present the findings of a comprehensive survey report on the university's campus network and internet connectivity infrastructure.
The meeting was led by BdREN CEO Mohammad Tawrit, who was accompanied by Assistant Manager (Sales) Md. Imranur Rahman and Assistant Manager (Market Promotion) Md Javedul Islam. Representing Gono Bishwabidyalay, the discussion was led by the Honorable Vice-Chancellor, Professor Dr. Md. Abul Hossain, along with Registrar Md. Ohiduzzaman, Controller of Examinations A. S. M. Noman Alam, and other relevant stakeholders of the university.
During the session, BdREN presented a detailed assessment of GB's existing campus network and connectivity landscape, outlining key findings and recommendations to strengthen the university's digital infrastructure.
Beyond network connectivity, university officials expressed strong interest in expanding their partnership with BdREN. GB representatives underscored the importance of migrating their server hosting and data backup services to BdREN, citing BdREN's reliability and trustworthiness as a research and education-focused entity over typical commercial service providers. The university also reviewed BdREN's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) module and voiced keen interest in adopting BdREN's Student Management System, along with a broader university management system, to support GB's institutional digitalization goals.
Both sides agreed to continue discussions to explore how BdREN's suite of digital infrastructure and management solutions can support Gono Bishwabidyalay's long-term technology roadmap.
