BdREN welcomes Senior Government Officials from BPATC
Dhaka, July 16, 2025- Two groups comprising a total of 40 senior government officials from the 118th Senior Staff Course of the Bangladesh Public Administration Training Centre (BPATC) paid a visit to the BdREN premises at Navana HR Tower-2, Tejgaon-Gulshan Link Road, and the BdREN Data Center located at the UGC Building, Agargaon, as part of their ongoing professional training program.
The visiting officials included 34 Joint Secretaries, 2 Director Generals from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and 1 Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Bangladesh Police.
During their visit to the BdREN Network Operation Center (NOC) and Data Center, the officials were given a comprehensive knowledge on how BdREN monitors its nationwide operations and manages its critical data infrastructure. The delegation gained firsthand insight into BdREN’s robust systems supporting connectivity across educational and research institutions throughout Bangladesh. The session was conducted by Khandakar Rashedul Arefin, Manager, Data Center. Shamim Ahmed and Jamilur Rahman from BdREN were present in the demonstration program as well.
The guests were cordially received at the BdREN head office by CEO, BdREN Mohammad Tawrit. A technical briefing session was conducted by Abu Naser Md Nafew, Network Engineer (NOC), and Md. Ariful Islam, Manager (Data & Transmission), who elaborated on BdREN’s flagship services and infrastructure initiatives supporting the nation’s research and education ecosystem.
Biplab Chandra Mahanta, Manager (HR) and Mohammad Imam Hosen, AM (HR) were involved in organizing the event and making the tour program a successful one.
