On 30 September 2024, BdREN organized a "Workshop on IT Infrastructure" at Government Brajalal College, Khulna. The workshop gathered two (2) IT professionals from each of the Nine (9) IDG colleges namely Govt. BL College, Khulna, Azam Khan Govt. Commerce College, Khulna, Govt. Mohila College, Khulna, Daulatpur Day/Night College, Satkhira, Govt. PC College, Satkhira, Govt. Sundarban Adarsha College, Khulna, Satkhira Govt. College, Bagerhat, Satkhira Govt. Mohila College, Satkhira and  Kumira Mohila Degree College, Satkhira under the National University in the Khulna Zone. The workshop was preceded by an inauguration and knowledge-sharing session which was attended by Principals/Representatives of Principals of those nine (9) colleges. The event was inaugurated by the honorable Prof. Sheikh Md. Humayun Kabir, Principal of Government Brajalal College who chaired the program. In the inauguration session Md. Ariful Islam, Manager, BdREN demonstrated BdREN services and its benefits for the colleges. Also, feedback was collected from all the representatives of the colleges about their experience with BdREN Services. 

Once the inauguration session was over the ICT professionals were provided hands-on training by BdREN network engineers Sakil and Sakib. At the end of the training program, the participants lauded the programs for its relevance to their daily operations, expressing gratitude for imparting them the needed skills and knowledge. The workshop concluded on a high note, with a warm lunch. During this BdREN extended heartfelt thanks to the attending principals and other academicians for their active participation in the event.

The workshop not only enriched the participants’ understanding about the installed IT infrastructure in respective college premises, but also it marked a significant step towards strengthening technological capabilities in educational institutions across the colleges in Khulna Zone. BdREN’s initiative is a testament to its ongoing dedication to fostering the dissemination of knowledge on campus network maintenance within Bangladesh’s academic ecosystem.
