A group of enthusiastic students from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) of Dhaka University of Engineering and Technology (DUET) embarked on an enlightening Industrial Visit to the Bangladesh Research and Education Network (BdREN) office as part of their academic curriculum. This educational journey provided the students with valuable insights into the realm of networking and technology.

The visit commenced with a thought-provoking theoretical session, where the Chief Technical Officer (CTO) of BdREN Mr. Ekhlas Uddin Ahmed extended a warm welcome and delivered an inspiring welcome speech. This set the tone for a day filled with knowledge sharing and exploration.

Distinguished Network Engineers from BdREN then took the stage, each shedding light on different facets of the organization's operations which includes a comprehensive overview of the BdREN Server System, BdREN Routing and Switching and the Transmission and Power infrastructure of BdREN.

Adding a touch of motivation to the proceedings, the notable media personality, Mr. Ferdous Bappy, delivered a lively and inspirational speech, encouraging the students to pursue excellence in their academic and professional journeys.

Following the enlightening session, the students were granted the opportunity to explore the inner workings of BdREN. They were taken on a tour of the BdREN Data Center, where they gained firsthand experience of the cutting-edge technology and infrastructure that powers BdREN's operations. Additionally, the students visited the Network Operation Center (NOC), where they witnessed the real-time management and monitoring of BdREN's extensive network.

The day concluded with the CTO of BdREN, who drew the curtain on this educational visit with his closing remarks, summarizing the key takeaways and expressing his hope that the experience had been both informative and inspiring for the visiting students.
