
BdREN has successfully completed a Capacity Development Program under BeLISAC on On-Prem Video Conferencing Platform
BdREN has successfully arranged a Capacity Development Program on Installation and Administration of On-Prem Video Conferencing Platform under Building e-Learning Infrastructure for South Asian Countries under TEIN (BeLISAC). This five days long program began on 8 January 2023 and concluded on 12 January 2023. There were 10 participants in the event from different Universities who works in the ICT/IT/IICT departments. This hands-on program was venued at the BdREN Video Conferencing Room at the University Grants Commission of Bangladesh.
Belisac System/Network Engineer, Saima Hossain Faria and BdREN Network Engineer, Abu Naser Md. Nafew were the two qualified trainers who conducted the training. The participants were:

The trainers covered the topics of Virtualization and Cloud Computing, Proxmox as a virtualization platform, Deployment of Proxmox and its features in the first two days of this program. Then in the last three days, the topics from Installation and Administration of On-Prem Video Conferencing Platform were covered. There was a half-day recreational site-visit tour to the Bangladesh Liberation War Museum on Day 3 of this event. The participants enjoyed and learned a lot from this visit. After that, the participants enjoyed a social dinner event at The Pan Pacific Lounge Buffet, sponsored by BdREN.
After the completion of the five-day training program, there was a closing ceremony chaired by Mohammad Tawrit, CEO, BdREN. The participants were awarded with a certificate for their successful completion of the capacity development program. Then the top-standing participants received enticing gadgets from BdREN. The participants were happy with the logistics, and they expressed high interest in receiving regular training programs from BdREN.
