BdREN and PUST Collaborate to Boost Campus Network Infrastructure
On October 17, 2023, Bangladesh Research and Education Network (BdREN) and Pabna University of Science and Technology (PUST) formalized a significant partnership to enhance PUST's campus network infrastructure, marking it as 6th Campus coming under the purview of Campus Network Maintenance through BdREN. The signing ceremony, presided over by Professor Dr Hafiza Khatun, the Vice Chancellor of PUST, marks a pivotal moment in the university's efforts to technological evolution. As part of the agreement, BdREN will be responsible for maintaining and improving PUST's Campus Network, thereby enhancing the university's digital connectivity and technological capabilities. Professor Dr. K.M. Salah Uddin, Treasurer of PUST, signed the agreement on behalf of the university, emphasizing their dedication to providing cutting-edge technological resources for students and faculty. On behalf of BdREN, Mr. Mohammad Tawrit, the Chief Executive Officer, signed the agreement, reaffirming BdREN's commitment to supporting its member institutes in achieving their objectives.
The signing ceremony was attended by other distinguished individuals, including Dr. Md. Abdur Rahim, Director, ICT Cell of PUST, and Md. Ariful Islam, Manager (Data and Transmission) of BdREN. Their presence underscored the importance of this collaboration in advancing the technological capabilities of the University. This partnership signifies a significant step forward in BdREN’s ongoing efforts to enhance the IT infrastructure of the universities across the country.
