Signing Ceremony of Implementation of College Education Development Project (CEDP), between NU & BdREN
With a view to enhance the quality of college education through the development of infrastructure and digital connectivity at the colleges under the College Education Development Project (CEDP), a partnership agreement was signed between National University (NU) and Bangladesh Research and Education Network (BdREN) was held on 06 March 2023 at 06.30pm at the city liaison office of NU
The signing ceremony of the partnership agreement for College Education Development Project (CEDP) between National University (NU) and Bangladesh Research and Education Network (BdREN) was held on 06 March 2023 at 06.30pm at the city liaison office of NU.
Under the agreement, BdREN will connect all government and non-government colleges under the purview of National University with its network. However, such connectivity will be established in phases. It is expected that in the initial phase 120 colleges supported by the CEDP under NU will be connected with BdREN Network.
The agreement was signed by Mohammad Tawrit, on behalf of BdREN and Prof. Abdus Salam Hawlader, Treasurer, on behalf of NU. The signing ceremony was graced by the presence of Prof. Dr Mashiur Rahman, Vice-Chancellor, NU. Others present in the ceremony were Mohammad Khaled Rahim, Additional Secretary, Project Director, CEDP, Mollah Mizanur Rahman, Joint Secretary (Development-1 branch), SHED, Mollah Mahfuz Al-Hossain, Registrar, National University; Dr Mohammad Farooq Ali Tarafder FCMA, ACS, Chief Administrative and Finance Officer, BdREN; Md. Ariful Islam, Manager (Data and Transmission), BdREN and representatives from the World Bank.
