CME and BdREN signed an agreement for installing a Video Conference Room at CME
The signing ceremony of the agreement for installing a video conference room for ‘Centre for Medical Education (CME)’ and ‘Bangladesh Research and Education Network (BdREN)’ was held on January 17, 2023 at 01.00 pm at the CME office. Under this agreement, BdREN will plan, install and manage a Video Conferencing Room at CME.
The event was inaugurated with the opening speech from Prof. Dr. Syeda Shahina Subhan, Director, CME who shared her gratitude to BdREN for extending their hand of cooperation and also gave a warm welcome to the representatives from BdREN. Following her speech, Prof. Dr. Titu Miah, Honorable Director General of Directorate General of Medical Education (DGME) imparted his speech and acknowledged BdREN’s contribution in providing digital services to the researchers and academics of the country. The DG and Director CME assured BdREN that they would intimidate the medical colleges of the country to properly utilize BdREN facilities at their respective premises.
Then, Mohammad Tawrit, the Chief Executive Officer of BdREN delivered his brief speech highlighting BdREN’s effort for the government medical colleges across the country.
The agreement was signed by Mohammad Tawrit, CEO, BdREN on behalf of BdREN and Prof. Dr. Titu Miah, Honorable Director General, DGME, on behalf of CME. The signing ceremony was graced by the presence of Dr. Md. Rajib AL Amin, DPM (Admin and Finance), MEHMD, DGME, Dr. Mohammad Abu Sayeed Talukder, Assistant Professor (Medical Education), CME, Dr. Mohammad Farooq Ali Tarafder FCMA, ACS, Chief Administrative and Finance Officer, BdREN, Ekhlas Uddin Ahmed, Chief Technical Officer, BdREN, Md. Ariful Islam, Manager (Data and Transmission Network), BdREN and many others.
