BdREN organizes it's 3rd version of ‘Meet & Greet’ series workshop at Chattogram

On December 7, BdREN (Bangladesh Research and Education Network) organized 3rd version of our ‘Meet & Greet’ series workshop, at Radisson Blu hotel, Chattogram Bay View. BdREN arranges this ‘Meet & Greet’ platform to exchange views with its member institutes in the education and research sectors for identifying new areas of cooperation as well as implementing those ideas.

Professor Dr. Md. Sazzad Hossain, the honorable Member of University Grants Commission of Bangladesh honored the chair of ‘Chief Guest’ on this occasion. The Chief Guest rendered his valuable speech on the very important topic of how UGC, BdREN and higher education institutes can work together to effectively implement digital transformation in these higher education institutes.

The Chair of the program was the honorable Vice Chancellor of Chattogram Medical University – Professor Dr. Md. Ismail Khan highlighted the importance of Digitization in the Higher Education and Research sector and gave his valuable advice to the educational institutes to carry forward the digital transformation with the help of BdREN and UGC. The honorable dignitaries present as Special Guests at the ‘Meet & Greet’ workshop are, Professor Dr. Mohammad Rafiqul Alam, the honorable Vice Chancellor of Chittagong University of Science and Technology, Professor Dr. Shelina Akhter, the honorable Vice Chancellor of Rangamati Science and Technology University and Professor Dr. Md. Nural Anwar, the honorable Vice Chancellor of Port City International University. Besides, Professor Dr. A.F.M. Abdul Moyeen, the honorable Vice Chancellor of Comilla University was present online and shared his speech.

Moreover, distinguished delegates, like Pro-Vice Chancellors, Principals, Registrars, ICT Directors, Finance Directors of nearby Universities, Medical Colleges, Colleges under ‘College Education Development Project’, PGCB, BTCL were present and contributed in the discussion in today’s Meet & Greet Program. Besides, Chief Executive Officer of BdREN, Mohammad Tawrit, conducted second half of the session where contemporary topics and activities of UGC and BdREN were described and in addition to an attractive and exclusive quiz competition. The half-day event ended with a delicious lunch attended by all participants.
